VENDOR DIRECTIVES AND GUIDELINES
COMPLETE AND SIGN APPLICATION FORM AND SUBMIT TO THE TCFMA
BOARD.
You will be notified of acceptance or rejection
within 30 days. If rejected, checks will be returned. The Board reserves the
right to determine the suitability of any item offered for sale at this market.
Final approval may not be given without seeing one or more samples.
Vendors must hold all appropriate certification to comply with
health ordinances.
Each stallholder must provide a suitable display
stand. Canopy shades or market umbrellas are strongly recommended. Securely
attached weights or tie downs required for safety. 40 pounds
of weight per leg is required. Identifying
signs should measure at least 18” x 12”, and should be resistant to wind and
moisture. Farmers are requested to list their farm name, nearest town, and
whether produce is certified organic or is pesticide-free. Vendors may sell by
volume (bag, basket or piece), or by weight. If weighing scales are used, they
must be certified accurate by the Colorado Dept. of Agriculture.
Stallholders should be ready to sell by
7.00 a.m. If unable to attend, those with reserved spaces must notify
the market manager by 5 pm on the day before market, or be prepared to pay a
fine of $15, and lose their space. Motor traffic through market will not
be permitted between 7 am and 1 pm. Vendors should arrive no later than
6.30 am. If late in arriving, a space may be assigned at outer areas.
A dumpster is provided on site by the market and
the city, and will be collected at 1.30 pm. Any remaining refuse should be
removed by the stall holder at the end of the market day. Clean paper or
cardboard should be separated and left outside dumpster for recycling.
Use only the dumpster assigned to the market! Space must be cleaned up before
leaving.
A portable toilet is provided on site.
Hand-washing facilities are available near market office. Stallholders should
bring their own drinking water. Prepared food vendors should bring water for
hand washing, as stipulated in local health ordinances.
Fees and taxes are collected by 1.15 pm.,
and should be brought to a manager. Receipt provided.
By signing the invitation form, the vendor agrees
to abide by these directives, and to perform no action harmful to the market,
affecting customers, other vendors or market management.
