VENDOR DIRECTIVES AND GUIDELINES

COMPLETE AND SIGN APPLICATION FORM AND SUBMIT TO THE TCFMA BOARD.

You will be notified of acceptance or rejection within 30 days. If rejected, checks will be returned. The Board reserves the right to determine the suitability of any item offered for sale at this market. Final approval may not be given without seeing one or more samples.

Vendors must hold all appropriate certification to comply with health ordinances.

Each stallholder must provide a suitable display stand. Canopy shades or market umbrellas are strongly recommended. Securely attached weights or tie downs required for safety. 40 pounds of weight per leg is required.  Identifying signs should measure at least 18” x 12”, and should be resistant to wind and moisture. Farmers are requested to list their farm name, nearest town, and whether produce is certified organic or is pesticide-free.   Vendors may sell by volume (bag, basket or piece), or by weight. If weighing scales are used, they must be certified accurate by the Colorado Dept. of Agriculture.

Stallholders should be ready to sell by 7.00 a.m. If unable to attend, those with reserved spaces must notify the market manager by 5 pm on the day before market, or be prepared to pay a fine of $15, and lose their space. Motor traffic through market will not be permitted between 7 am and 1 pm. Vendors should arrive no later than 6.30 am. If late in arriving, a space may be assigned at outer areas.

A dumpster is provided on site by the market and the city, and will be collected at 1.30 pm. Any remaining refuse should be removed by the stall holder at the end of the market day. Clean paper or cardboard should be separated and left outside dumpster for recycling. Use only the dumpster assigned to the market! Space must be cleaned up before leaving.

A portable toilet is provided on site. Hand-washing facilities are available near market office. Stallholders should bring their own drinking water.  Prepared food vendors should bring water for hand washing, as stipulated in local health ordinances.

Fees and taxes are collected by 1.15 pm., and should be brought to a manager. Receipt provided.

By signing the invitation form, the vendor agrees to abide by these directives, and to perform no action harmful to the market, affecting customers, other vendors or market management.
