Special Programs: Young Entrepreneurs & Merchants

Young Entrepreneurs:

Space at the market may be given to vendors 18 and under, at discounted rate, and with some equipment provided, as available - canopy, table, chair. If more than one YE applies, they may be asked to share space, or will have the opportunity to provide their own equipment in separate space.

Advice and teaching available from managers and some vendors, re markets, promotion, signage, pricing, financial transactions, taxes and other related market tips.

Product offered must be appropriate to the market, and grown or made by the vendor.

Suggestions given if needed.
Managers will be happy to discuss this and answer any questions.

Merchant At The Market

To help local businesses grow, we have previously offered a special one-day opportunity to advertise  at the market. Business owners who offer products or services which would not normally qualify as market-appropriate, may participate in this rotating space, as available.

However, in the past we have been somewhat overwhelmed by the number applying, so this section is now being regulated by Mike Standridge, who operates TellerBB.com - a local website linked to statewide networks through Tribemania.

Merchants should contact Mike at http://www.tellerbb.com/ if they would like to participate in the Merchant Spotlight space.   Click here to email

Preference is given to Teller county businesses, but contiguous counties may apply.
Questions on this may still be directed to the market managers.

Young Merchant

A new program to complement the Young Entrepreneurs. For items not usually market appropriate, but made and sold by under 18's. One day only, at same discounted rate.
